All businesses ensure they organise themselves in a specific way because they feel that this is the best way to meet their overall purpose. 

Explain how the style of the organisation helps the two organisations to fulfil their purpose. 

It might be worth starting with the main aims and objectives of the organisation first.

From the document above we can see that the college has the aim to have '90% percentile success rate' which would put it in the top 10% of colleges in the country.

Why do you think that it is a good idea to have groups of teachers who teach similar subjects together in the same department?

How can they help each other and students reach the target of being one of the top 10% colleges in the country?

However, there are other functions within the college which are important to help the organisation reach its objectives.

The Finance department makes sure the college does not overspend.

Explain that the HR Department arranges the process to attract the most highly qualified candidates for teaching vacancies.
